Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a fast-paced Intermediate Unit.
This unit is responsible for intermediate medical patients and surgical overflow.
Responsibilities include management of various procedures such as TURPS, laparoscopic surgeries, and diabetic teaching.
Nurses will be expected to take on additional patients when needed.
This role requires the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
The ability to administer IV insulin protocols and manage feeding tubes is essential.
Experience with cardiac telemetry is required.
The position involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Regular floating may be required between departments and units as needed.
Weekend shifts will be expected as part of the schedule.
The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Candidates should have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
