Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Provide continuous monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic status for patients.
• Conduct cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, including cardiac strip and rhythm interpretation.
• Manage arterial lines and titrate cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips.
• Deliver care for post-operative patients, including those post open-heart surgery and post pulmonary artery thrombectomy.
• Manage non-invasive ventilator care and post-procedure site care.

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 1 year of experience in Cardiac Tele or PCU
• Skills in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, and rhythm interpretation
