Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years of experience required License: Current RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Nursing care skills - Health assessment skills - Health teaching and counseling skills - Therapy and treatment skills Description: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards defined by the state Board of Nursing. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and health counseling. Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others. Executes delegated medical functions. Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
