Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit with cardiac population. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Assignment may include telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients. Holiday coverage required (Thanksgiving or day after, plus Christmas Eve/Day OR New Year's Eve/Day).
Highlights:
- Specialized cardiac patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain cases
- Experience with cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
- Progressive care environment with potential telemetry assignments based on unit needs
- Structured nurse-to-patient ratios ensuring quality care delivery
- Minimum 2-year assignment in a comparable facility setting
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum 2 years of documented Progressive Care Unit experience in a similar-sized facility
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Experience managing cardiac drips and cardiac patient populations
- Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
