Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit with cardiac population. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. May include assignment to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels. Holiday coverage required.

Highlights:

  • Specialized cardiac patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain patients
  • Experience with cardiac drips required, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
  • Dynamic 28-bed unit with progressive and intermediate care capabilities
  • Flexible patient assignments based on acuity levels within the unit
  • Contract assignment with mandatory holiday coverage (Thanksgiving or day after, plus Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day)

Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of documented Progressive Care Unit experience in a similar-sized facility required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
  • Experience managing cardiac patient populations and cardiac drip medications
  • Professional badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
