Must-Have:
Able to care for non-invasive respiratory support, such as BPAP and heated high flow.
Able to manage titratable medications.
Experience with chest tube management.
Description:
Hiring Process: Candidates will be interviewed by the clinical team.
If selected, an offer will be extended on behalf of the facility.
Nurse to patient ratios are 1:3 or 1:4.
Charge nurses do not take patient assignments.
There are nurse aids on the unit with a ratio of 1:12.
Available equipment includes vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen devices.
Telemonitor technicians are present, but RNs verify rhythm strips.
Self-scheduling is allowed, as well as block scheduling.
Full and part-time employees are expected to self-schedule a minimum of six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule.
Holiday requirements apply.
Floating within designated zones may be required.
Scrub color is navy blue.
Charting is done using a designated electronic charting system.
