Description:
Seeking a Float Registered Nurse for a progressive care unit.
Position requires flexibility to float between units based on patient needs.
Patient population may include ER boarded patients, telemetry, medical-surgical, and progressive care.
Nurse to patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on unit acuity.
May include some charge responsibilities on smaller units.
Charge duties include managing staffing needs, bed flow, and general coordination.
Candidate must have experience in managing diverse patient needs and working in high-acuity settings.
Experience with various medical equipment and procedures is essential.
Responsibilities include vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient care management.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems is required.
