Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
1 previous travel assignment required.
License:
DC RN Licensure required.
Pending DC license accepted with proof of pending status at submission.
Certifications:
ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
Must-Have:
Experience with ventilated patients.
Experience managing dysrhythmias.
Telemetry experience.
Experience with cardiac drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Nicardipine, Heparin.
Experience with bipap/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula.
Description:
The role involves caring for patients in an Intermediate Care Stepdown setting.
Rotating shifts required, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Candidates must have experience in critical care environments.
Mandatory skills include administration of chemotherapy and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Previous experience with moderate sedation is a plus but not mandatory.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diverse medical diagnoses.
Daily patient census is approximately 14.
