The nurse will provide care for patients with cardiac conditions, including congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias. Experience with pre and post cardiac catheterization is required. Nurses will need to focus on patient care, ensuring safe monitoring and management of cardiac drips, including procedural sedation administration. The position requires the ability to work with a diverse range of patient age groups, primarily adults. The unit operates 24/7 with nursing staff scheduled via a self-assisted schedule.
