Job Title: CHF RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: IMC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous travel assignment experience is required Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Intermediate Care (IMC) with experience in cardiac care. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts each week. A patient ratio of 1:3-4 is expected. The role includes monitoring patients on telemetry and managing dysrhythmias. Experience with managing advanced heart failure and monitoring renal failure patients is essential. The nurse will be responsible for administering blood products and managing central lines. Additional skills needed include the assessment and management of tracheostomy care and isolation precautions. Wound care and the use of a wound vac are also necessary components of this role. The nurse will work with a variety of interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Weekend shifts are required every third week. The nurse may be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue scrubs are required. Candidates must have completed a minimum of one travel assignment. All candidates must have received the flu vaccine.
