The role is within the PCU where you will engage with surgical, ortho, and cardiac patient populations.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)- Provide specialized care to patients in the PCU
- Monitor tele, post-op, and cardiac patients; ensure immediate post-op recovery care for surgical and cath lab patients
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Meditech/CPN EMR systems
- Respond to rapid changes in patient conditions
Requirements of the Travel Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Cardiac experience preferred
- Prior Meditech experience beneficial
- NIH certification is a plus
