Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a 30-bed cardiac progressive care unit
- Manage equipment such as tele, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, and more
- Conduct neurovascular checks and manage pre and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Administer medications, including various drips like heparin and diltiazem
- Collaborate and communicate effectively within a team-oriented environment
Requirements of the Travel Registered Nurse- Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU hospital experience
- Valid BLS & ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in chest tube management, pacer wire removal, and 12 lead EKGs
- Experience with O2 management, including BIPAP and heated high-flow
