Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Colorado

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, patient ratio typically 1:4 to 1:5

  • 30-bed fast-paced cardiac progressive care unit at a designated cardiac center of excellence
  • High-acuity intermediate care environment with diverse case mix including post-catheterization, post-thoracic surgery, and open-heart surgical patients
  • Collaborate with experienced team of 65+ clinical staff including RNs and Patient Care Technicians
  • EMR system: Meditech
  • Manage advanced equipment including telemetry, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high-flow oxygen, chest tubes, pacemakers, and various IV drips
  • Travel nursing assignment with competitive benefits
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Colorado or eligibility for compact state licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of current Progressive Care Unit (PCU) hospital experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Experience with chest tube management, 12-lead EKGs, oxygen management up to BiPAP and heated high-flow, and cardiac drips (heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, dobutamine, milrinone) preferred
  • Strong team player with high energy, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
