Registered Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered, nurses must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions. Travelers must have two years of experience in the service line. The facility conducts a mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana, which may affect clearance. Travelers should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival, including CBD products. Pre-approved time off is limited. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The daily census on the unit is approximately 30 patients. The unit consists of 33 beds. Registered Nurses will work with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
