Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit – Colorado

Start Date: September 10, 2026

Location: Thornton, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Travel assignment, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 5:1 patient ratio, 24-bed progressive care unit

Highlights:
  • Brand new state-of-the-art progressive care unit with modern equipment and technology
  • Diverse case mix including post-op ortho/spine, elective GYN surgeries, cath lab procedures (post PCI, pacemaker, ablation), stroke, chest pain, renal and respiratory failure patients
  • Telemetry monitoring and post-operative care environment with cardiac drip experience (non-titrating except heparin)
  • Meditech/CPN EMR system with collaborative unit culture and experienced nursing team
  • Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted three weeks in advance for flexibility
  • Supportive team environment with strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of current hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
  • Current RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
  • Cardiac experience preferred
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred
