Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,990 per week in Englewood, CO

Schedule: Travel assignment; 12-hour shifts (5A–5P day shift available); 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Highlights: - 20-bed ICU Step-Down unit within a designated Cardiac Center of Excellence- Advanced patient care with high-acuity cardiac and neuro cases including chest tubes, pacer wires, BiPAP, heated high-flow oxygen, and specialty drips (heparin, tikosyn, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, and more)- Collaborative team environment with 40-person unit staff including RNs and PCTs; day shift supported by 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 3 PCTs- EMR system: Meditech- Exposure to high-level procedures including 12-lead EKGs, chest tube management, and pacer wire removal Requirements: - Active Colorado RN license (or eligibility for compact/endorsement)- Minimum 1 year of current Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required- Extensive neuro experience and cardiac background strongly preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This fast-paced, challenging assignment places you at the heart of a recognized cardiac center delivering exceptional care to high-acuity patients.
