Description:
UNIT DETAILS:
Minimum experience required is 1 year.
The unit does not accept first-time travelers.
Weekend coverage is every other weekend.
There is no call requirement.
Floating is required within the facility to other acute care units as needed.
If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler must work both.
For three major holidays, the traveler will be expected to work two.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
Full compliance is required to start on time; delays in compliance will push back the start date by two weeks.
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary.
RTO Policy:
All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission.
No requests for time off or scheduling changes can be made post-offer or onsite.
Requests for time off cannot be made during orientation week.
Maximum time off allowed is seven days per contract.
Holiday time off requests are not allowed if one or two holidays occur during the assignment.
One holiday time off request may be considered if three holidays occur during the assignment.
Compliance with onboarding requires completion of core items and labs in a specific timeframe.
All compliance documents are due by a designated deadline.
Modules must be completed during the orientation period and are recorded via transcripts.
