Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Nashville, Tennessee

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule

Highlights:

  • 20-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical unit within an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • 6:1 patient ratio with tech support on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage 7a-7p
  • Modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, and iMobile communication technology
  • Electronic documentation via Meditech system
  • Focused on providing attentive, compassionate patient care with bedside shift reporting and family-centered care approach
  • Opportunity to work in a certified facility with Chest Pain Center designation

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
  • Ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively
  • Competency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
  • Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
