Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

RN-PCU jobs at the facility in Rapid City, SD let you deliver specialized care to patients who need close monitoring but do not require intensive care. You will assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, progressive care unit. You must have graduated from an accredited nursing program, hold an active South Dakota or compact RN license, and have recent experience in progressive care or acute care nursing. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Proficiency in cardiac and neuro stepdown care, strong critical thinking, and adaptability are valuable for success in this role.
