Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical Neuro Unit – Tennessee

Schedule: Rotating shifts with weekend requirements; 6:1 patient ratio on Acute Care, 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown
Highlights:
- 30-bed unit: 22 Acute Care beds and 8 Neuro Stepdown beds specializing in stroke and neurological care
- Work with diverse equipment including high flow oxygen, chest tubes, Vapotherm, BiPap, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
- Electronic documentation system: Meditech
- Supportive team environment with RN Charge Nurse, 1-2 Techs, and unit secretary on duty
- Common procedures include lumbar punctures and chest tube placements

Requirements:
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification required for Acute Care positions
- BLS and ACLS certification required for Neuro Stepdown positions
- Strong nursing skills and time management abilities for Acute Care
- Stepdown experience preferred for Neuro Stepdown positions
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
