Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry/Progressive Care Float Pool RN – Georgia

Start Date: October 2026

Schedule: 13-week assignment, rotating schedule with every other weekend (average 6 weekends per contract), flexibility required for float pool scheduling, no call required

Highlights:

• Float pool position supporting Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and Progressive Care Units throughout the facility
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS and MS Telemetry
• Epic EMR system required, Pyxis medication management, SBAR communication protocols
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics with diverse diagnoses across MS, MS Telemetry, and PCU specialties
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract, orientation hours provided based on assignment length
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and lift teams

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 1 year of experience in MS, Telemetry, or PCU settings; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 MS/Telemetry and 1:3-4 PCU preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, blood product administration, central line management, and ventilator care
• Flexibility to float across multiple units as needed
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
