Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in PCU.
The position involves caring for adults to geriatrics.
The unit admits patients from intensive care settings and the emergency department.
Patients may present with a variety of conditions including post-operative care, respiratory failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and metabolic disorders.
The average daily census is 21, with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4.
The unit has a capacity of 32 beds.
Must be proficient in the use of Epic, Pyxis, and various respiratory support equipment.
Every other weekend shift is required unless specified otherwise.
Floating within the facility as needed is part of the role.
There are no call requirements for this position.
Working on major holidays is expected as outlined in the policy.
Full compliance with onboarding processes is required to start on time.
