This is a Med Surg role that frequently floats to Step Down and MS/Tele units.

Travelers must have Step Down/PCU experience. Med Surg nurses will float to their PCU unit as needed. Please confirm that the traveler is comfortable floating frequently. This is a Med Surg role that frequently floats to Step Down and MS/Tele units. Ratios are as follows: Step Down 1:4-5, Med Surg 1:5-6. Must already be licensed in South Carolina. Unit is a 22-bed adult MS Oncology unit. Possible extension available. Shift dates include weekdays, every other weekend, float, and holidays as needed. No scrubs provided; royal blue/white required. Charting system used is Meditech. COVID-19 vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. Additional Job Requirements: Previous charge experience preferred. Community hospital experience preferred. Experience with specific charting systems preferred, especially Meditech. Candidates must be comfortable working holidays and weekends in rotation. High patient-care ratios and frequent floating among units. Only floating within the facility will be allowed. Polices on floating comply with current standards. Candidates may also have to complete modules. References will be required during compliance.
