Position will float between units. On-call is not required. Weekends are required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratio is 1:4. 48-hour scheduling approved. Type of facility is a short-term acute care. Total staffed beds: 379. Level II trauma center. Dress code for licensed nursing personnel is solid navy blue attires. Uniforms and scrubs with prints are not allowed, with exceptions in designated units. Free parking available in unrestricted spaces. Daily census is estimated at 27 patients. Patients may include those with TIA, stroke, epilepsy monitoring, and neurosurgical conditions. Dedicated mentors will be available for new caregivers. Interdisciplinary support includes various therapeutic and diagnostic services. Cardiac tele drips can be administered on this unit. The electronic health record system utilized is EPIC. Fast-paced working environment with a high level of teamwork. Travel staff may be required to float between nearby facilities.
