Must pass a basic dysrhythmia interpretation test and medication test during orientation. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Complex Medical Unit Acute Care. Start dates are available on November 16th and November 30th. Patient ratios typically vary according to need, but are generally 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend work is required every other weekend. On-call duty is not required. We will try to accommodate block scheduling based on patient and unit needs. Time off requests for entire weeks during holidays will not be approved; individual dates may be negotiated based on staffing needs. Patient diagnoses include a range of complex medical conditions. Special procedures may be required as per the unit's needs. Remote continuous telemonitoring equipment is in use on the unit. References are required. Client experience is preferred. Travel pairs are allowed. Modules are completed during orientation and annually.
