TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37211!

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical Neurology – Tennessee

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; two weekends (four shifts) per four-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio on a 20-bed unit

Highlights:

  • Specialized Neuro Medical/Surgical unit providing comprehensive stroke care at an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
  • Work with supportive team structure including tech support on day and night shifts, and unit secretary coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Documentation in Meditech EMR system
  • Utilize advanced equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, and iMobile communication technology
  • Structured floating policy with contract labor floating first, followed by rotation
  • Focus on patient-centered care with bedside shift reports and family involvement in care planning

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in state of practice
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
  • Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Competency in IV insertion, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
  • Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
