Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Neurology/Medical-Surgical – Tennessee

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; two weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule
Highlights:
- 20-bed Neurology Medical-Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Meditech electronic medical record system
- Facility holds Comprehensive Stroke Certification, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center status, and Certified Chest Pain Center designation
- Equipment includes IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact license (if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Medical-Surgical experience required
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively
- Competency in IV insertion, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
