The facility has a Level 2 Trauma designation and serves a diverse patient population. Common patient types include individuals with cardiac events, strokes, trauma, and respiratory illnesses. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The department emphasizes teamwork and open communication. You will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing comprehensive patient assessments. Support staff is readily available to assist with patient care tasks. Floating between various medical-surgical and critical care areas may be required. Orientation includes a general introduction to the facility and departmental training.
