Job Opportunity – Progressive Cardiac Care Unit RN – Texas
Start Date: September 22, 2026
Location: Arlington, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 guaranteed hours per week; day shift and night shift available; no on-call requirement; floating within scope of practice
Highlights:
- 34-bed Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) serving as the official trauma PCU for the facility
- Patient ratios of 1:5 for PCU level patients and 1:6 for medical-surgical telemetry level patients
- Meditech EMR system with standard equipment including VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, and continuous pulse oximetry
- Flexible scheduling with a positive work culture and collaborative team environment
- Supportive upskilling initiatives for staff development and advancement
- Critical care orientation packet provided
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Texas (or multistate compact license)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Progressive care or ICU/PCU experience required
- PCCN, TNCC, or TCAR certifications preferred
- Precepting experience preferred
