Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have:
- Cardiovascular interventional cardiology experience preferred.
- Charge experience preferred.
- Patient ratio experience preferred.
Description:
The position involves providing care in a stepdown unit.
Moderate sedation and medication titration skills are required.
Experience with arterial sheath removal and Swan Ganz catheter utilization is preferred.
Candidates must be comfortable floating to similar units as needed.
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Weekend shifts are required.
Daily census in the unit is approximately 20 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare professionals such as IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
Experience with blood product administration and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
Responsibilities include managing dysrhythmias and obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG.
Candidates will be expected to assist with pre/post cardiac catheter interventions.
Procedural sedation administration and monitoring is also part of the role.
