Description:
The facility is a 47-bed Progressive Care Unit.
Staff includes a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Registered Nurses, and Patient Care Technicians.
Patient ratios range from 4 to 6 depending on acuity.
Typical equipment includes Alaris pumps, PYXIS machines, Epicardial pacing boxes, and LVAD equipment.
Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include blood transfusions, IV drip titration, pain medication administration, and medication administration.
The ideal candidate should have IV drip experience and be telemetry certified.
Candidates with prior experience in a cardiac unit are preferred.
The best personality fit is a positive team player focused on patient-centered care.
Travlers are expected to work every other weekend and rotate holidays with hospital employees.
No on-call shifts are required.
Dress code includes royal blue scrubs.
Floating to medical/surgical units may be required if needed.
