Only local candidates will be accepted and must reside within 75 miles of the facility. The Stepdown unit has patient ratios of 1:4/5. All facilities operate on a rotating schedule of 36/48 hours over a two-week pay period. Ratios can fluctuate based on patient census and staffing needs. Candidates must possess skills in managing ports, cardiac telemetry, and administration of blood products, among others. A background in critical care nursing is essential, and applicants should be familiar with telemetry monitoring. Professional experience must include fluency in various medical procedures such as pre/post cardiac surgery and managing vasoactive drips. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work within interdisciplinary teams and provide exceptional patient care to adults and geriatrics. This role may involve working alongside physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy teams. Only candidates who can meet the scheduling requirements and are open to every other weekend commitment will be considered.
