The facility has a bed capacity of 383. The unit has 30 beds and operates with a mix of staff. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 UC. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 7 RNs. The patient ratio is 1:4. Typical equipment includes EMR - Meditech. The unit performs cardiac drips and high flow oxygen. Teamwork is a core value within the team. The patient population is high acuity. Experience on the unit ranges from new graduate nurses to those with extensive experience. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with regular staff.
