- 25-bed Progressive Care Unit located on a dedicated floor within main hospital
- Complex patient population including stroke patients, cardiac drips, continuous BiPAP, and post-procedure care
- Modern telemetry and bedside monitoring equipment including BiPAP, Airvo, and seizure precaution capabilities
- EMR system: Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with experienced charge nurses and support staff including patient care technicians
- Travel RN position with professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Current Texas RN license or ability to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification – required
- Progressive care or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Preceptor or charge nurse experience is a plus
