# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (PCU) – Texas
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Denton, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 4:1 patient ratio (may flex to 5:1 during staffing shortages)
Highlights:- 25-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in stroke patients, cardiac drips, continuous BiPAP, and post-procedure care
- Advanced equipment including BiPAP, AirVO, bedside monitoring, and telemetry
- EMR system: Meditech
- Collaborative night shift team consisting of 1 charge RN, 6 staff RNs, and 3 PCTs
- Travel RN assignment with comprehensive orientation provided
- Opportunity to work with an experienced, tenured interdisciplinary team
Requirements:- Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
- Progressive Care or Medical-Surgical experience strongly preferred
- Preceptor experience and charge nurse experience are preferred but not required
