The unit has 11 beds and a staffing ratio of 4:1, which may increase to 5:1 if a tech is available. Staffing includes a charge nurse and three additional nurses during busy periods. The unit is equipped with bedside vital signs machines and utilizes EMR technology. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Candidates may float to Med Surg if necessary.
