Description:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years working as a RN in Progressive Care Unit.
Candidates must possess strong telemetry interpretation skills.
Experience in PCU-level care or higher is essential.
Only applicants with these qualifications will be considered for the role.
Preferred candidates should have experience with critical cardiac drips and hematoma management post sheath removal.
The unit has 11 beds and a staffing ratio of 4:1, which may increase to 5:1 if a tech is available.
Staffing includes a charge nurse and three additional nurses during busy periods.
The unit is equipped with bedside vital signs machines and utilizes EMR technology.
There is no on-call requirement for this position.
Candidates may float to Med Surg if necessary.
