Job Summary
Pre Op Registered Nurses in the Pre Op specialty are sought for a position at a healthcare facility. Job Details
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Education Requirements: No specific degree required beyond current licensing.
- Location Requirements: Must be licensed and current to practice in the area.
- Experience Requirement: 0 years minimum required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Position Description: Data collection and patient monitoring in a Pre Op unit with 13 beds, equipped with EKGs, glucometers, bedside monitoring, and electronic medical records.
- Typical procedures include general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, and procedures in the cath lab.
- Unit personnel include 7 staff members, with a mix of Certified Nurse Assistants, Pre Op Registered Nurses, Phase 2 RN, and PCT team members.
- Candidate must be flexible to float to Pre Op, Phase 2, and PAT areas, and comfortable with rotating weekend and on-call responsibilities from Saturday 0700 to Monday 0700, approximately once every 4-5 weeks.
- Dress Code: Scrubs in navy color.
