Experience: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
Must-Have:
Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring.
Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws.
Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin).
Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing.
Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing.
Demonstrated knowledge of IStat.
Demonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring.
Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors, including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.
Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns.
Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication, including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance.
Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets and lights.
Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers.
Demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training.
Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching.
Description:
The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of labor and delivery experience.
Candidates should also have a minimum of three years of postpartum experience.
Additional experience in medical/surgical nursing is preferred.
A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
