Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) | Weekends Required | No On-Call Shifts
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to mother-baby couplets in a 34-bed private couplet unit with a 1:3-4 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor equipment including Alaris pumps and bilirubin blankets/lights
• Document patient care and assessments using Cerner EMR
• Perform and assist with circumcisions and other unit-specific procedures
• Care for postpartum patients receiving Magnesium Sulfate as needed
• Float as helping hands to Labor & Delivery and NICU when required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Mother Baby / Postpartum nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Must adhere to unit dress code: navy blue/white scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience caring for postpartum patients on Magnesium Sulfate
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Team-oriented with a passion for patient education
