Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients in an LDRP setting with 10 LDR beds, 2 ORs, and 2 triage rooms
  • Perform postpartum couplet care in accordance with unit standards
  • Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
  • Operate updated HillRom and GE equipment; document in Expanse EMR and monitor via CPN
  • Adhere to AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
  • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • Demonstrated ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in combined Labor & Delivery with Postpartum care
  • Triage experience in an obstetric setting
  • Familiarity with Expanse EMR and CPN monitoring systems
