Description:
The unit consists of 10 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery beds, along with 2 Operating Rooms and 2 Triage stations.
The staffing pattern includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 3 Registered Nurses, 1 Unit Coordinator, and 1 Surgical Technologist on day shifts,
and similar staffing levels during night shifts.
Patient ratios adhere to AWHONN guidelines.
The unit is equipped with HillRom equipment and utilizes an Expanse document system for electronic medical records.
Typical procedures include the care of labor and delivery patients and postpartum couplet care.
The ideal candidate should be energetic and ready to support a new team.
Rotating weekends and holiday coverage are required.
Candidates with labor experience and postpartum triage experience will be prioritized.
