Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Mother Baby / Postpartum
LocationIrving, TX | Acute Care
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to Postpartum and high-risk Antepartum patients
- Perform Newborn Nursery care, including assessment and monitoring of neonates
- Support Postpartum recoveries and manage patient care documentation using Meditech
- Perform IV placement and other unit-based procedures as required
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications- Active Texas RN License required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital-based RN experience
- Demonstrated ability to care for high-risk Antepartum patients and Postpartum recoveries
- Newborn Nursery experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (Advanced FM) experience
- RNC-OB certification
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
