Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to new mothers and their infants in a postpartum unit, focusing on education, support, and monitoring during the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Educate new mothers on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and infant care techniques.
  • Support patients emotionally and physically during their postpartum recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans.
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the medical records system.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to an every other week (EOW) rotating schedule consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. The preferred start dates for this role are September 14 or September 28.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous experience in postpartum care or relevant nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
