Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity and condition
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time when on call
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (Kansas licensure or compact eligibility required)
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations with a 30-minute response time
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Flexibility with scheduling and hours
- Experience caring for post-operative craniotomy and orthopedic patients
