    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Onsite | Days – Variable 4x10 shifts with start times of 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for patients across a 14-bay PACU unit with a 1:2 patient ratio, averaging 35 patients per day
    • Care for patients following general, spine and neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, peripheral vascular, and orthopedic proceduresli>Stabilize ICU-level patients in the PACU prior to transfer to the ICU
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including one night per week for 4 out of every 6 weeks and every 5th weekend, with a 30-minute response time requirement
    • Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation schedules as assigned by the unit
    • Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience with recent hospital-based practice
    • Experience with post-cardiac and pediatric patient populations
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred; candidates without Epic experience must have prior electronic charting experience
    • Familiarity with post-recovery PACU workflows and high-volume patient throughput environments
