Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in a fast-paced PACU environment
- Perform both pre-operative and PACU nursing duties as required
- Monitor and assess patients' post-anesthetic status and intervene appropriately
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care
- Adhere to facility scrub and dress code policies; hospital-issued scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 24 months PACU experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Ability to perform both pre-op and PACU nursing duties
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment; candidates must reside outside of Arizona
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical or academic medical center environment
- Familiarity with advanced operating suite workflows and multi-specialty surgical cases
