    Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

    Location

    Tucson, AZ | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Monday–Friday with varying days off | Flex start between 0900–1100 based on case load

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in a fast-paced PACU environment
    • Perform both pre-operative and PACU nursing duties as required
    • Monitor and assess patients' post-anesthetic status and intervene appropriately
    • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care
    • Adhere to facility scrub and dress code policies; hospital-issued scrubs required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days with no disciplinary actions
    • Minimum of 24 months PACU experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
    • Ability to perform both pre-op and PACU nursing duties
    • Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment; candidates must reside outside of Arizona
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
    • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical or academic medical center environment
    • Familiarity with advanced operating suite workflows and multi-specialty surgical cases
