    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days: 4 x 10-hour rotating shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Projected Start: 08/17/2026 | Projected End: 11/14/2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
    • Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and changes in condition requiring clinical intervention
    • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the care plan as needed
    • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning, documenting timely and appropriate interventions
    • Float to other units within surgical services as required; fulfill weekend on-call obligations (2 weekends of 12-hour call shifts per month) and one night call per week
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
    • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
    • Prior PACU or surgical services nursing experience
    • National professional nursing certification or advanced nursing education (BSN or MSN)
