Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical procedures
- Apply airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management skills in a fast-paced PACU environment
- Work across preoperative and extended care units as needed
- Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as required and based on qualifications
- Complete non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 5 years of total RN experience
- Minimum 3 years of PACU-specific experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN or CPAN certification
- Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
