Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights | Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to adult surgical patients in an 18-bay PACU setting
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio during the first 30 minutes post-procedure or when patient requires ICU level of care; transition to 2:1 ratio when patient is stable
• Ensure a minimum of 2 RNs are present in the PACU at all times when a patient is present
• Serve as the in-house night RN, with a second nurse available on call for night cases
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Magic EMR
• Collaborate as a proactive team player to support safe and efficient patient throughput

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Demonstrated ICU level of care competency
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification
• TCAR certification
• Experience working night shift in a PACU or surgical services environment
